Winters & Yonkers sued over Referral ServiceMay 3rd, 2010
May 3, 2010 -- The Louisville law firm of Winters & Yonkers recently was sued by a former client who alleges that the law firm obtains clients through "illegal and / or unethical solicitation." The civil lawsuit, which seeks class-action status, asks that the Louisville law firm be forced to forfeit all attorney fees that arise from the 1-800-ASK-GARY referral service, which is owned by a Florida Chiropractor.
Neither Winters nor Yonkers are licenced to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Interestingly, the client who filed the lawsuit does not allege that the firm committed legal malpractice.
