Dishonest lawyer nailed with $3.2 million judgment and disbarment

Louisville attorney Bruce Atherton had already been suspended from practicing law in Kentucky based on his guilty plea to federal charges that he illegally participated in a "bust out" scheme by agreeing to purchase small businesses, then improperly draining their assetts before completing the deals.
