Settlement Reached in Truck Collision case.Jul 24th, 2011
June 27, 2011 - Louisville injury attorney Will Driscoll successfully settled a truck accident case after a 6+ hour Mediation. Three days earlier, the trucking company refused to mediate or make a settlement offer.
Client suffered serious injuries after a nighttime collision with a Kenworth tractor. Issues involved nighttime visibility, reflective tape, vehicle conspicuity, pre-trip inspections, driver training and truck safety regulations.
Truck safety expert Roger Allen (Houston TX) was retained to discuss the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the truck company's duty to properly train its drivers on truck safety laws. Local Meteorologist Kevin Harned was hired to discuss the lack of Moonlight on the night of the accident.
